Clients referred under a Mental Health Care Plan are eligible for a Medicare rebate.

Individual Therapy Sessions
Initial Assessment Appointment 50 minute consultation: $292 With a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral, the Medicare rebate is $98.95*, resulting in an out of pocket cost of $193.05.
Subsequent Appointments 50 minute consultation: $251 With a valid Mental Health Care Plan referral, the Medicare rebate is $98.95*, resulting in an out of pocket cost of $152.05.
Mental Health Care Plans and Referrals
If you would like to access Medicare rebates, you will need to obtain a valid Mental Health Care Plan and referral from your GP before your first appointment. Eligible clients can access Medicare rebates for up to 10 psychology sessions per calendar year under the Better Access Initiative.
Medicare rebates are processed after payment of the full consultation fee.
